The Dyna-Lock is designed to allow freedom of movement for workers that are
exposed to fall hazards. As a worker moves, the lifeline automatically extends and
retracts to keep the lifeline out of the workersí way, thus creating a safer work
environment. Itís durable steel and aluminum housing, as well as the corrosion
resistant internal components, will provide years of service. Without a factory
re-certification requirement, the cost of ownership of a MSA mechanical product
is lower than ever.
The MSA Dyna-Lock Self-Retracting Lanyards (SRL) are fast-acting fall arresters that
limit free-fall distance, deceleration distance and fall arrest forces while allowing user
freedom of movement. The Dyna-Lock SRL is ideal for climbing applications where
vertical mobility is needed.
Three independent locking mechanisms provide proven dependability in corrosive
or freezing environments.
Integral shock absorber limits fall arrest forces to 900 lbs or less.
Visual impact loading indicator on snaphook that alerts the user when the unit has
been subjected to a load.
Wire rope available in galvanized or stainless steel.
Swivel snaphook to prevent birdcaging or kinking of lifeline.
Roller nozzle reduces wear on cable.

No Factory Re-Certification;
On January 1, 2000, we eliminated our requirement for a factory re-certification on all of our mechanical
products. This policy change not only reduces the cost of ownership on MSA mechanical products, but it also
eliminates down time from returning a mechanical product to the factory for re-certification. With years of
proven success in our mechanical line of products, we are confident that the function of the unit, and the
safety of the user, will not be compromised by eliminating the requirement for factory re-certification.
NOTE: All users of MSA mechanical products are still required to perform a pre-use inspection and a formal inspection of each mechanical unit
in accordance with the user instructions, and as outlined in OSHA regulations,ANSI standards, and CSA standards.
