The Defender faceshield is made from lightweight polypropylene and accomodates all MSA visors. It's easy-in and easy-out visor channel allows for quick and easy visor replacement. With no mechanical pins used to hold the visor in place, there are no pins to inadvertantly break off. The frame latches to the bill of the cap for a tight seal (latching tab models) and ear muff accessory simply snaps into the frame pivot joint with no bolts and nuts to fasten. V-shaped frame extender enhances visor retention, minimizing flaring at the bottom of the visor. Front-drip-edge with lockdown brim offers splash protection against spills while providing an unlimited number of lift positions. Visors sold separately. Meets ANSI Z87.1-1989.
