Product Information;The SAR effectively accommodates the worker when a prolonged supply of breathing air is required in non-emergency situations. The SAR is NIOSH approved for use in the supplied air mode for up to 300 feet from the air source (but not to exceed 12 lengths of air hose). The SAR combines a slim profile, lightweight and easy to use design to meet the challenges of today’s hazardous work environments (not immediately dangerous to life or health) such as chemical processing and handling, welding and paint spray operations and abatement of hazardous materials. The harness provides the wearer with a comfortable fit. It is also easily removed for cleaning. The pneumatic system is designed to provide the user with ample air supply, even in the most stressful situations. The SAR includes the Panorama Nova full facepiece with triple sealing edges for a superior fit, and a speech diaphragm for clear communications. Three sizes in one mask is also compatible with all Draeger respiratory products. The unit is ideally suited for work in areas where hazardous atmospheres, not immediately dangerous to life or health, are encountered, including asbestos removal, abatement, chemical processing and handling, welding and paint spray operations. Components of the SAR are Panorama Nova mask, positive pressure demand regulator, airline hose and harness.
