Product Information; Maintain NIOSH Certification With Draeger Airline Hose.
To maintain the NIOSH certification on Draeger Safety’s supplied air respiratory products (including Pent Air, SAR and ALE Lite) always use NIOSH approved Draeger Safety supplied air hose. The NIOSH approval is valid for up to 300 feet in any combination of section lengths (but not to exceed 12 sections).
Because individual requirements differ, Draeger Safety offers two types of supplied air hose. Both types of hose are NIOSH approved for use on all Draeger supplied air respiratory equipment. Our heavy duty hose stands up to grueling environments, and to physical and chemical hazards. The lightweight hose is suitable for most applications and is approximately 40% lighter making it easy to maneuver. Allow your application to determine your airline hose needs. Both the lightweight and heavy duty hose offer good chemical resistance, tensile strength and elongation at break. The smooth outer surface makes cleaning easy and the heavy duty hose remains extra kink resistant. The hose is lightweight, cost effective, and threaded for quick-disconnects accepting Hansen, Foster, Schrader, Snaptite and Cejn couplings.
